Summary of traveller reviews

Namaste Hostel in Tbilisi is praised for its fantastic location in the old town and its incredibly friendly and helpful staff, with many guests highlighting Aleks and Basil. The hostel boasts a wonderful balcony with spectacular views, creating a social and cozy atmosphere perfect for meeting fellow travellers. While most reviews are positive, a few mention beds could be more comfortable and that indoor common areas can be limited when the weather is poor.

The only redeeming factor in the location. Two showers and three bathrooms for the whole entire hostel. Two of the bathrooms are also in the shower so it’s rlly only 3 places in total, for 30+ people. So dead inside, but the staff were nice. The beds were really annoying. The AC was a good one though. Overall very mixed, but they are very mediocre

I would not recommend this hostel if you are a woman. Especially solo. Upon arrival a ‘long term guest’ threw my things across the room and then berated me in the night. I told staff about this the next day and they let me cancel the rest of my stay as I did not feel safe or comfortable because of this guest. I was told this guest ‘hates women’ and it’s not the first time he’s acted this way. Also smells bad, only 2 bathrooms and beds so flimsy.

The beds are incredibly uncomfortable, even by hostel standards. Which when people are coming late and leaving early means really poor sleep unless you're a light sleeper. Some of the staff very friendly, others not so much. I think there are better hostels to choose from in Tbilisi that actually support locals rather than the slightly pretentious nomad traveller vibe here. Location is great though, especially for day trips.
