Tucked into the quiet folds of the Naina Range, Zostel Plus Nainital sits far from the town's bustle, in the middle of the forest. The way here is part of the experience: a 5 km drive along Kilbury Road to Tankey Band, then a 1 km hike through pine-scented trails. What waits is a cluster of cottages scattered across a wooded hillside. Each dorm and room is set independently, with a private balcony and porch opening onto valley views, sunlight, and open air.

Here, days move slower by design. An infinity hammock strung against the hills, a sprawling garden, and a common room that hums with easy conversation set the pace. Evenings stretch long by the bonfire pit, made for playing, socialising, or simply chilling with fellow travellers. The property also runs largely on solar power, a nod to the wilderness around it. The forest that surrounds it is still home to its wildlife, so a curfew is in place through the night, one small ask that keeps both guests and the ecosystem safe.

Note: To reach the hostel, you have to hike for 1 km (20-30 min) through a scenic jungle route. So we recommend that you carry a backpack instead of trolly bags. Please contact the on-ground team an hour before your arrival to request a porter (complimentary) to help you with the luggage.

Important Note:

- We strictly DO NOT allow a group of more than 8 people. In case of a group of 3 or more, you might be purposefully allotted different dorm rooms. Further, if the group behaviour is deemed unfit at the property, the Zostel Property Manager, upon subjective evaluation, retains the full right to take required action which may also result in an on-spot cancellation without refunds.
- Children below 18 years of age are not permitted entry/stay at any of our hostels, with or without guardians. We do not recommend families.
- Our standard check-in time is 1 PM and the standard check-out time is 10 AM.
- We only accept a government ID as valid identification proof. No local IDs shall be accepted at the time of check-in.
- Guests are not permitted to bring outsiders inside the hostel campus.
- We believe in self-help and do not provide luggage assistance or room services.
- Alcohol consumption is permitted at the premises as per the property’s discretion and local laws. Outside alcohol consumption is not allowed in dorm rooms and common areas. However, it can be consumed in private rooms.
- Right to admission reserved.

-Guests are requested to check in after 9:30 am and check out before 10 am for porter service (complimentary).

Note: All travelers are strongly advised to arrive at the property during daylight hours, as it is difficult to reach the property after dark. Following are the daylight timings for your reference:
- 7 am to 6:30-7 pm (Winter season)
- 7 am to 7:30-8 pm (Summer season)

Cancellation policy: 7 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the total amount of your stay.
