Ideal location in Chachapoyas. Its right on the square with everything you'll need nearby. We stayed in a private room as a couple. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms were decent, old and traditional but with comfy bed and hot shower. You'll hear everything happening nearby from your room, which is to be expected in an older place - however we had a noisy group arrive back from a night out at 5.30am, so if you're staying at the weekend keep that in mind.

Beautiful hostel in historic building and friendly staff. But beware the kitchen is not available for the guests to use, we had to ask to be able to cook once with special permission. Also the included breakfast is quite small (1 scrambled egg and bread)

The staff were super nice. I took an overnight bus and arrived in the morning, and they let me check in right away and even provided breakfast. Fernando, in particular, gave me excellent itinerary suggestions, allowing me to avoid returning to Chachapoyas to retrieve my luggage. He arranged for it to be sent directly to Cocachimba and gave me very detailed directions. I really like this clean and cozy place, and the breakfast was also very delicious.
