Schatzi's Hideaway is located in same distance from the both city centers Tangalle and Dikwella (15 minutes drive) as well as peaceful greeny village where you can access in steps away the beautiful long Beach and a lagoon in front which is rich in biodiversity.

If you are nature lover, it has opportunity to enjoy the nature as it is untouched area yet. Two types of monkeys, peacock, buffalos, varan, iguana, crabs, squirrels, parrot, plenty of migrant birds are common animals which you can see daily. The beach is best for body board surf, swiming, and many more beach activities. 10 minutes drive to most populer surfing spot in Hiriketiya and Brake point, Tangalle. Also, there is an underwater museum for snorkeling near by blue beach island and most popular scenic beach called Goyambokka beach and Silent beach is in 10 minites away. Mulkirigala Rock monastery and Weurukannala Big Buddha statue is the most populer historical sites can access 15-25 minutes driving. Just 2km from nearest railway station called Mahawela and 5 minutes walking distance from main bus stop which buses passing by 24 hours to any destination. In addition, it has a highway entrance in 10 minutes drive to reach Colombo and Airport within 2 to 3 hours. Mini van or Car, tuk tuk, Scooter bikes or bicycle available for rent in cheapest on site to access all the hotspots. Featured in four large bedrooms, Living room with a Dining area, large verendha and a fully equipped Kitchen. Kitchen equipment and Laundry service can be arranged at an extra charge. A caretaker will be provided for the property for no extra fee. Cooking lessons, Outdoor dining and barbecue activities can be enjoyed on requests. Events arrangements, Celebrations parties can be organized on our large garden. Kayaks available for Lagoon kayaking in front. Surf boards, body boards, Snorkling equipments, Safety jackets, Boat tours, fishing tours, surf lessons will be organized on request.

For indoor activities such as Carom, Dam, Chess or game Cards also available. High speed Wi-Fi facilities and a computer available for free. We provide Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner meals and tea or snacks on request. You may taste mouth watering fresh homemade cuisines with an advance order (at least an hour before).

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
