El Sofá Caracas is a home for everyone, a great and supportive social hub for people travelling alone, as a couple or in a group.

LOCATION/TRAVEL:

City Travel:
Located in the district of Los Palos Grandes, in the North-East central area of Caracas, El Sofa is ideally located for travel around the city and access to the rest of Venezuela.
The Avila Mountains are walking distance from El Sofa.
There are city-wide local buses for less than $0.40 running late as well as the Metro de Caracas running from 05:00 – 23:00.
We offer transport for $25 during the day and $30 at night.
There are reliable Taxis and Moto-Taxis which you can access via roadside stands or apps such as Yummy Rides.

Countrywide buses:
You can access the coast of La Guaira via bus from the city centre.
Terminal de Pasajeros La Bandera is a 12 minute taxi ride away, or you can access the Metro station by changing at Plaza Venezuela.

Check in from 15:00 to 23:00
Check out from 9:00 to 11:00

Cancellation policies, 72 hours before arrival, guests who cancel less than 72 hours before check-in or no-show, will be charged 50% of the reservation amount.

Payment: upon arrival, can be made in cash, dollars or euros, credit / debit cards.

*** WE ADVISE YOU TO BRING PLENTY OF USD CASH, IT IS DIFFICULT TO OBTAIN AND YOU WILL MORE THAN LIKELY OBTAIN BETTER CONVERSION RATES OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY ***

RULES (apologies, we don't like them either but we need safeguards in place so all of our guests can have a pleasant stay):

1. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms: if you are found smoking a cigarette, electric cigarette or similar inside the rooms, we will charge a fine of $50.

2. We take deposits of $20 for room keys, which will be returned in full on check-out.

3. Please contact us in advance if you would like to bring your pets, we welcome small and friendly pets.
