About Us:
Founded in 2023, Extra Traveller Hostel is more than just a place to stay – it's a gateway to authentic Jordanian culture. Located in the heart of Aqaba, our hostel was founded by Anas and his team, one of the entrepreneurs from Aqaba’s original local residents, offering travelers a genuine taste of local life, traditions, and flavors.

As one of the first hostels in Aqaba, our journey doesn’t stop here. We have grown our connections across Jordan’s Golden Triangle—Aqaba, Wadi Rum, and Petra—extending all the way to the capital, Amman, creating a connected travel experience filled with tours, adventures, and rich explorations for our guests.

Taste authentic Jordan at our hostel with traditional homemade meals, including the Bedouin Zarb and Aqaba’s famous Sayadieh made with fresh local fish.

Nestled in the city center, we're just a short walk from the beach, historic sites, and vibrant markets. Our sunny garden and cozy common areas are the perfect spots to relax, swap stories with fellow travelers, and plan your next adventure.

- Fuel Your Day: Traditional Jordanian breakfast (vegetarian option available) served daily for a small fee.
- Stay Connected: Free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout and a workspace for digital nomads.
- Local Immersion: Daily walking tour at 5:00 PM with street food tastings.
- Convenience: 24/7 reception (07:00–00:00), easy check-in (12:00–24:00), check-out by 11:00 AM.
- Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before arrival. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a charge.
