Your stay at the foot of Montebello Castle
The Montebello Hostel is located in a historic 1800s building at the foot of Montebello Castle. It is the ideal starting point for excursions as well as a transit point on the main North-South axis of the Alps. Thanks to the Ticino Ticket, exploring the region is very easy.
The building that hosts the hostel has a long history. In fact, it dates back to the 1800s, at that time called “Istituto Santa Maria” and run by the Sisters of Menzingen.
The garden with the pergola is a wonderful oasis to escape from the daily stress while being surrounded by nature.
