Zostel Pahalgam

Engulfed by the tall snow-covered and rolling green peaks on all sides, the 2-storeyed brick-covered Zostel Pahalgam is your retreat into the proverbial winter wonderland. As you make your way to the entrance through a lamp-lit pathway, a colourful seating in the garden and a lantern-ridden tree in the middle greet you. Inside, rustic and woodsy decor with splashes of mosaic-painted walls, quirky wall art, and soft traditional rugs awaits. Keeping your comfort in mind, there are cushy private rooms and lively dorms to choose from. While the woodsy on-site restaurant takes care of your snacking needs, the vibrant and buzzing common room invites you to fun games and entertainment. Outside, a special bonfire area is perfect for all beginner and pro guitarists to put their musical magic on display. So make your way here for an unforgettable mountain escape with your best bunch.

- Our standard check-in time is 1 PM and the standard check-out time is 10 AM. Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability, and may also attract an additional fee at the property's discretion.
- We strictly DO NOT allow a group of more than 8 people. In case of a group of 4 or more, you might be purposefully allotted different dorm rooms. Further, if the group behaviour is deemed unfit at the property, the Zostel Property Manager, upon subjective evaluation, retains the full right to take required action which may also result in an on-spot cancellation without refunds.
- Children below 18 years of age are not permitted entry/stay at any of our hostels, with or without guardians. We do not recommend families.
- We only accept a government ID as valid identification proof. No local IDs shall be accepted at the time of check-in.
- Guests are not permitted to bring outsiders inside the hostel campus.
- We believe in self-help and do not provide luggage assistance or room services.
- Drugs and any substance abuse is strictly banned inside and around the property.
- Alcohol consumption is permitted at the premises as per the property’s discretion and local laws. Please reach out to the property prior to your arrival to confirm the same.
- Right to admission reserved.

Note: We offer a complimentary bonfire to everyone at the hostel during winters from 9-10:30 pm. However, if someone wants an exclusive or extended bonfire duration, a charge of INR 200 is applicable.

Cancellation policy: 7 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
