Chukirawa Hostal is one of the first lodging sites authorized by the Ministry of Tourism in Quilotoa.

Since 2008 we have been receiving tourists who wish to spend the night next to the majestic lagoon. Thanks to the large number of people who have been our customers, we have been able to expand our capacity and the services we offer to be your best option.

Cancellation Policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

The hostel was very cold, however there was a fireplace in the room that was lit late in the evening (if you ask). David was a sweetheart. But the rest of the staff seemed very disinterested to have guests staying there, despite it being family owned. Nonetheless, an exceptional location by the lake.

It’s a nice property with a large shared dorm. The room has a fireplace that keeps it cozy at night, but it doesn’t turn on until after 6 pm, so it can feel quite cold before then. The shared dorm bathroom could use some improvements. The on-site restaurant looked great, though it closed at 7 pm, which seemed a bit early. The staff were very friendly and happy to help.

Great place that's really well placed. The staff were nice enough and the food was great. But the mold on the ceiling if my shower was CRAZY, it was gross to say the least. The rest of the room was great and the firewood stove in room really made it cozy at the end of a long day.
