About

Cabañas Los Almendros are located in the center of Capurgana next to the School. It is a large space with a spectacular garden. The vegetation allows for a very cool environment as well as attracting iguanas, squirrels, among others.

It is the perfect place to relax in a hammock or sun lounger.

We have a solar energy system that powers the fans and light bulbs in case of a power outage in the town.

Each of our cabins is unique, it is a place suitable for large or small families and also for travellers. We have common spaces to rest or play (cards, board games, darts, chess...), read and share.

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival.In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

A lovely place to stay! The grounds are very pretty, and the place has a rustic paradise vibe. The staff were friendly and were very patient with my limited Spanish. Free breakfast was also great. I stayed in the shared room, which was empty during my stay, but would have been suitable for more people. Mosquito net kept me unbitten. ¡Volvería aqui!

I had a very bad experience there. I booked a cabin with airco but got one without. I booked the place because the location seemed quiet. Unfortunately the generators of the hostel next door were super loud. The neighbours (I assume it was the staff from the hotel next door) were SCREAMING and listening to loud music until 3-4am. I couldn't stay there. when I wrote to the manager and asked for a refund of the remaining nights, I was dismissed. I only gave 4 stars to the staff who were friendly.

Overall we had a good stay at Cabanas los Almendros. The property is lovely vegetated and away from the downtown noises of Capurgana (but an easy walk away). The breakfast was great and we appreciated the filtered water option.
