Refugio Liquen

With its large, inviting patio, comfortable common areas, free and fast Wi-Fi in all spaces and rooms, and a wide variety of room types, Refugio Liquen welcomes you to Puerto Natales, Chilean Patagonia.

You're invited to feel at home in our city refuge. Guests can relax in the patio with a fire pit, a barbecue area with a cooking and entertaining area, and a living room ideal for yoga classes, working, and playing board games with friends and family, or meeting new people from around the world, throughout your stay.

The refuge is located a 10-minute walk from the city center and the city bus terminal. We offer tours with local agencies and guides to the area's natural attractions, such as: Torres del Paine (full-day tours and hikes within Torres del Paine National Park for up to 8 days; please check availability by email or phone), Milodon Cave Natural Monument, Laguna Sofía, and more. In addition to daily kayaking tours and rock climbing (weather permitting), the hostel offers a tour desk where we can help you find all the necessary information to plan your stay and book your tours.

Designed for your comfort, Refugio Liquen has a total of 6 private or shared rooms and 4 single or double domes. The hostel is equipped with 5 shared bathrooms. We offer rooms with various layouts: from a suite, a 4-bed female shared dormitory, or a mixed dormitory with 3 and 2 bunks. The hostel has a maximum capacity of 23 people.

Guests also have access to a fully equipped kitchen for preparing and storing meals, 24-hour hot showers, board games in the common area, paid lockers (check with reception), and a paid laundry service.
Breakfast is included in the rate and is delivered daily to our kitchen.
Free parking is available on the refuge grounds (limited spaces) and on the street in front of the refuge.

Booking Conditions and Policies:

Cancellation: Free of charge up to 72 hours before arrival.

Check-in time: from 1:00 PM.
Check-out time: until 10:00 AM.

Payment methods available: cash or bank transfer.
VAT not included: 19% of the price.

If you arrive at the hostel before check-in, you can leave your suitcase or backpack for free, but you cannot stay at the hostel.
If you check out, you can leave your backpack for free, but you cannot stay at the hostel, use the kitchen, or use the showers.

General:

Reception is open from 8:00 AM until midnight. Please let us know if you will be arriving outside of these hours so we can coordinate your arrival.
There are no limits on check-in times.
