Halse Lodge re-opened its doors in November 2024 after full renovation. Originally built in the 1880s, every corner tells a story inherently tied to the land. This iconic heritage listed two-storey backpackers has been carefully re-designed and revived in leisurely comfort.

NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKINGS: You will be charged the full amount at time of booking and cancellations are not allowed.
FREE CANCELLATION BOOKINGS: You have up to 48 hours (2pm) prior to arrival to make changes to your booking.
All Visa and Mastercard cards will incur a 1.38% surcharge fee.
All Amex cards will incur a 3.08% surcharge fee.
The Hostel may cancel the Booking if the payment details provided by the Customer are invalid or insufficient. The Hostel will make all reasonable attempts to contact the Customer for alternative valid details

ID: You must present a valid passport or drive's license at check-in, failure to do so may result in cancellation of your booking.

GROUP BOOKINGS: When booking multiple beds in a shared room, we will make a genuine attempt to put people on the same booking in the same room, however, this cannot be guaranteed. Group Bookings over 10 or more people will require prior consent from the hostel.

FOOD AND DRINK: We have a restaurant and bar on site. Guests may not consume or store food and drinks (other than water) in their rooms. Alcohol may not be consumed in any room at any time.

DISABLED GUESTS
The Hostel complies with all laws regulating the treatment of, and provision for, disabled Guests. Guests with any special requirements pertaining to a disability should inform the management team at the Hostel prior to the Arrival Date. Wheelchair access – only some rooms are suitable for wheelchair access. Please check the hostel information or contact the individual hostel directly before making a booking
