Welcome to Maracuya Hostal!
Our hostel combines relaxation and adventure perfectly. Just a 4 minute ride to town, our hostel is on the Arenal river road which leads to some of the purest water in Colombia. With our mountain bike, river tube, and horse rentals, you’ll be all set for the fun, on your own, or with our guides. You have so many water choices to walk or ride to in both directions. Just around the corner to the left from the hostel is Las Tangas and down the road to the right is the very special bridge leading to Cascada Honda. It’s special b/c its too narrow for cars, trucks and buses, so all you’ll have is nature, and the occasional smiling farmer passing by on foot, horse, bicycle, or motorcycle.
Afterwards, chill on our Terraza Sports Bar in our Yucatan hammocks, play ping pong, salsa dance, and get some drinks flowing as you unwind and mingle with travelers from all over the world and Colombians from all over this magical country.

We also offer a wide range of cultural tours like Cacao, birds watching, local food tours, and more.
Mixed and all female dorms and a private double available. All new and super comfortable mattresses. The fully equipped kitchen is available anytime for you to prepare your favorite meals.
We offer a laundry service for $5 per machine, ensuring you always have clean clothes.
Maracuya Hostal Policy and Conditions:
Cancellation Policy: 1 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or no show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
