Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to The Hostel at Garden of Eden Dive Resort! By making a reservation with us, you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions set forth below. Please take a moment to read them carefully.

2. Reservation and Payment
- When you make a booking through Hostelworld, a valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation.
- Full payment for your stay is required upon check-in at the resort.
- If you choose to cancel your reservation, please refer to our cancellation policy (outlined in Hostelworld).
- Prices are in Philippine Pesos (PHP) and may vary depending on availability and time of booking.

3. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the check-in time (2 PM local time) to avoid a charge for the first night of your stay.
- For bookings canceled within 24 hours of check-in, the cost of the first night will be charged to your credit card.
- Please note that no refunds will be issued for early checkouts or shortened stays once checked in.

4. Group Bookings
- For groups of ten or more, please contact us via email at reservations@goeresort.com for prior approval before booking.
- We reserve the right to cancel any group reservation made online without prior approval.
- Additional terms may apply to group bookings.

5. Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in time: From 2:00 PM.
- Check-out time: By 12:00 PM (noon).
- Early check-ins or late check-outs may be available upon request but are subject to availability.

6. Age Restrictions
- Our hostel is designed for adult travelers. Guests must be at least 18 years old to stay with us.
- Guests under eighteen must be accompanied by a legal guardian or parent.

7. Quiet Hours and Behavior
- To ensure a relaxing stay for all guests, please observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- We expect all guests to be respectful of others. Disruptive behavior or loud noise may result in eviction without refund.

8. No Smoking
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the hostel rooms. Designated smoking areas are available on the property.

9. Damages and Losses
- You are responsible for the room and any hostel property during your stay. If any damage or loss occurs during your stay, you may be charged for repairs or replacement.
- The hostel is not responsible for personal belongings lost, stolen, or damaged during your stay. We recommend using the in-room safe or lockers for valuables.

10. Air Conditioning and Fan Usage Policy
- Air conditioning in the hostel rooms will operate from 7:00 PM until 7:00 AM, but only when a minimum of 3 beds are booked in the room.
- If only 1 or 2 beds are booked in the room, only the electric fan will be provided as cooling, and the air conditioning will not be available.

11. Hostel Hot Shower Policy
- Please note that our Hostel Rooms are equipped with regular (non-heated) showers only.
- Hot shower facilities are not available in the hostel category. Water temperature is naturally influenced by the tropical climate of Puerto Galera and is generally comfortable throughout the year.
- Guests who prefer guaranteed hot shower amenities may consider upgrading to one of our Standard, Superior, Deluxe, or Family Rooms, which are equipped with hot and cold shower facilities.
- We kindly ask for your understanding and recommend reviewing room amenities carefully before confirming your reservation to ensure the best match for your comfort preferences.

12. Liability
- The Hostel at Garden of Eden Dive Resort is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that may occur during your stay.
- By booking with us, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the risks associated with your stay.

13. Privacy and Data Protection
- We are committed to protecting your privacy. The personal information you provide during booking will be used solely for reservation purposes and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
- Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

14. No Show Policy
- If you fail to check in on the specified date, your reservation will be cancelled, and you will be charged for the full value of your stay.
- If you arrive after your scheduled check-in date, there is no guarantee that a room will be available for you. Our hostel tends to book quickly, so if your room is no longer available, we may not be able to accommodate you. Please ensure your booking dates are correct before confirming your reservation.

15. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
- The Hostel at Garden of Eden Dive Resort reserves the right to amend or update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them prior to booking.
