Summary of traveller reviews

a&o Brussel Centrum offers comfortable rooms with a hotel-like feel, appreciated by solo travellers and groups. Staff are frequently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. While the location is a walk from the centre, it's well-connected by public transport. Some recent guests noted issues with cleanliness and room maintenance, and a lack of lockers.

For the price that we paid for this room, we expected it to be a lot nicer. While the staff were friendly, it is very dated. On our walk from the train station we were offered to buy drugs, walked past brothels and had an imminent police raid block our way on the footpath. We had to step over vomit twice. The room was very shabby and not very clean. The grout in the bathroom was damaged, the shower was not properly sealed, and the shower didn't work properly. Kids running the halls until 11pm
