Chongqing Rooftop Terrace Hostel

Had an awesome time sleeping here, and very close to all the food and sites, just walk outside and literally everything right at your feet.

Good location, hard to find - but would be easy if they just put a sign out front so not sure why they don’t. As you come up the stairs it’s really dusty, which is hard because works are being done but it could be cleaned. The rooms are spread across the staircase which means you sort of leave the hostel to find your room. The rooms and showers are fine but could do with some TLC. Overall it’s fine nothing amazing and could do with a clean and tidy

The photo's are deceiving. I am not someone to complain easily, I go camping in the dirt, but this was truly one of the nastiest places I've been. The shower was moldy and had a disgusting floormat that I wouldn't dare stand on with my bare feet. The bed was a wooden plank with the thinnest mattress. The staff had me wait for quite a bit for check-in despite acknowledging my presence. The elevator was really old and I didn't like using it at night as a solo female traveller. Left prematurely.
