When we arrived for check-in we got ignored by two girls even though we had spoken to them. We sat for half an hour waiting for someone to check us in, it wasn’t until one of the guests said he would get the manager. The manger being one of the girls that ignored us. Long-term residents would play videos until 2am out loud. In a sleeping place shared by strangers not so nice. Also the kitten they had was friendly but would sleep in the beds (so if you’re not a fan of that thing, heads up)

If you don't already know anyone inside the hostel it is impossible to get in. There are two locked doors and a gate without any signs between you and your bed. As I understood it the staff are all students who also lives in the dorms, and you never really know who works there and who is a guest. Quite clean, but there is a cat that goes in every bed so if you are allergic I would stay away. Once you figure out how to get in and dont need help from staff it's quite nice! Quite hot at night.

I loved this hostel. It is full of UB uni students and they mostly keep to themselves. There are some other tourists too and it's a funny atmosphere but we integrated and I loved the vibes and ended up staying about a week. There's a foosball table and chess boards for entertainment - Geri the kitten will join both games. The beds are the worst I've seen and I genuinely feared my friend was going to fall on me in the night from the top bunk. It was grimy and smelt awful. Would go again.
