Summary of traveller reviews

Ethno Adventure Camp in Almaty offers a pleasant stay with friendly and helpful staff. Guests appreciate the comfortable beds, ample storage, and a nice garden area for relaxing. While not a party hostel, it's a good spot for meeting people and has a great location. Some facilities, like showers, were noted as broken, and there's no air conditioning, only fans.

Host was lovely but there are a group of locals staying there that are quite rude and bring down the chill atmosphere. It was sometimes uncomfortable and unwelcoming to go into the communal spaces. Private room was nice and spacious but had a broken doorframe which felt a bit unsafe. Shower heads broken and toilet paper often missing. Good location for exploring the city but wouldn’t stay again.

Best hostel I have ever stayed at. Such kind people, my suitcase broke and I was given a new one to take back. Really great!

Nice hostel and good location. The owner was very helpful in waking up to help me get a taxi to the airport. Much appreciated.
