Auberge de Jeunesse HI Nîmes offers a very friendly and helpful staff, with excellent cleanliness. The property boasts a beautiful terrace and well-equipped kitchen. Some guests find the location a bit challenging to reach, especially with luggage, due to uphill walks and limited public transport nearby. Rooms lack lockers and curtains.

super clean, everyone was very friendly. felt very safe as a solo female traveler. the only downside is how much you need to climb uphill to get to the hostel, so i would recommend to get an uber or something similar if you have large bags!

Great option for a hostel in Nimes in every way except getting there is a bit of a hassle. You need to take a bus and then walk uphill for 20 minutes, with hot weather and heavy bags it's difficult. Rooms were clean, staff was extremely friendly and helpful, bathrooms are shared however, and the storage units in the rooms couldn't be locked.

The hostel is a 30-min walk from the city center (which I knew before booking) and the public transportation is not quite near the hostel. I had a small suitcase and a backpack (about 20kg total) and I had to go up the hills walking for 15min to get to the hostel, which I think it's not ideal for someone traveling with some weight and no car. The beds don't have curtains and chargers nearby, the matelas are soft and old, there is no ventilation and air-conditioning, but it was clean.
