You will be staying within a boutique hotel so can expect a unique experience, different to any other hostel in town. Jake's is a hand-crafted paradise. Your room opens into a tropical paradise garden, complete with tree house balcony, relaxing hammocks and a swimming pool. Wifi is available throughout the property and we have a large covered seating area available for co-working or big family-style dining. The rooms have air conditioning and comfortable beds with privacy curtains and secure storage space for your travelling essentials. There is a shared toilet and shower for each room.

Chill in our beach swing-seats with the sand between your toes, watching the sunset and enjoy the company of fellow travellers and friendly locals.

Jakes is an amazing place to chill at the beach and in the pool. The staff, the volunteers and the owner are all incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast was different every morning and always very delicious. The dorm room and beds are new and very nice. During the weekend there is a more local crowd hanging out at the beach club, so you get the chance to talk to locals without leaving the place. During the week it is rather quiet and ideal for those seeking something peaceful at the beach.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Great location, the beach is gorgeous! I’d say it’s centrally located; can get to both sides of the village within 10 minutes. The food was great & priced well. The pool is very refreshing. Darrin, the owner, went above & beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable & had everything they needed. Such a special place with so much character, charm, & value. The dorm rooms a great size, comfortable, & the AC is a great bonus! Its own little paradise!
