Perched above the island with stunning panoramic sea and jungle views, Hillside Hostel & Bungalows offers the perfect balance between social energy and peaceful island living.

Located on Koh Rong Island, we are just a 5-minute walk from the beach, 10 minutes from restaurants and markets, and only 10 minutes from Nestival – close enough for the fun, far enough for a good night’s sleep.

Our hostel is designed for backpackers, solo travellers, and long-stay guests looking for more than just a bed. Relax on our terrace balcony with ocean views, meet fellow travellers at our social bar, or enjoy the calm hillside atmosphere surrounded by nature.

We offer comfortable air-conditioned accommodation including 4 spacious dorm rooms (8 beds each) and 4 private bungalows with ensuite bathrooms – ideal whether you travel solo or want your own private space.

Please note: as our name suggests, we are located on a hillside, so there is a short uphill walk to reach us. In return, you get fresh air, peaceful surroundings, and some of the best views on the island.

After Koh Touch Pier, turn right and keep walking from the costside till arrive Tree House Bungalows.

but no worries we're located in one of the best areas on the island for mobile data, so you'll usually get better signal (especially 'Metfone') here than in most other places.

📍 How to Get to the Hostel

From Koh Touch Pier:
The hostel is about 10–15 minutes walking distance from the pier.

After getting off the pier, turn right and walk along the beachfront.
Continue following the coast until you reach Tree House Resort.
When you arrive there, go behind the resort and walk slightly uphill to reach the hostel.

From Long Set Beach:
It takes approximately 40–55 minutes on foot.
Tuktuk is the best option. :(

* If your backpack is NOT too large, we can come and pick you up from the pier by scooter for free. (Max. 2Pax)
* Alternatively, a tuk-tuk transfer can be arranged for an additional fee.
