About

Taghazout Garden House – Garden Hostel

Escape the crowds and discover a more peaceful side of Taghazout.

Nestled on the hill above the village, Taghazout Garden House is a small independent garden hostel surrounded by olive, pomegranate, lime, papaya and avocado trees. Here, nature, community and authentic Moroccan hospitality come together to create a different kind of stay.

Our garden is the heart of the house. Enjoy breakfast under the trees, relax on traditional Berber carpets, read a book in the shade, or meet fellow travellers in our indoor and outdoor living spaces. It's a place to slow down, reconnect with nature and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere that makes our hostel unique.

Although we're located in a peaceful area above Taghazout, getting here is easy. We provide two complimentary daily shuttle services between Taghazout centre and the hostel. The journey takes just 8 minutes by car, making it easy to enjoy the beach, cafés and surf spots before returning to the quiet atmosphere of the garden.

Every morning we serve a homemade Moroccan breakfast, included with your stay and served from 8:00 to 10:00 AM.

We offer two comfortable mixed dormitories (4-bed and 6-bed), Wi-Fi throughout the house and garden, a fully equipped shared kitchen, spacious indoor and outdoor common areas, and secure luggage storage before check-in or after check-out.

Whether you're here to surf the famous waves of Taghazout, practise yoga, hike the surrounding hills, explore Paradise Valley or simply take a break from everyday life, you'll find a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of local recommendations.

As your hosts, we're always happy to share our favourite places around Taghazout and help organise surf lessons, yoga classes, traditional Moroccan dinners, hammam experiences and unforgettable day trips.

At Taghazout Garden House, we believe that travelling is about more than just finding a place to sleep. It's about slowing down, connecting with nature, sharing experiences with people from around the world, and discovering the warmth of Moroccan hospitality.

Come for the waves. Stay for the garden. Experience the true spirit of Morocco.

Taghazout Garden House is a beautifully curated retreat on the hill just overlooking the central village that gives you access to all of the experiences Taghazout has to offer while providing you a tranquil space to come home and rest at the end of the night. I visited at the end of the fruit season, so Ayoub and I went through the neighborhood passing out pomegranates from the garden on our way to watch the sunset my first night. This is the true experience of Moroccan hospitality, Ayoub will make you feel

Fresh organic pomegranate for free from the trees in the garden, fresh breakfast every morning with organic eggs, cool vibes nice place, host is hard working, cleans and cooks often and sometimes offers freebies like food/drinks, host is very active and offers services and excursions, sometimes more often than we would like to hear lol, quiet hours later in the evening, town/beach is not accessible on foot from the hostel without a long walk so bring transport or be ready for taxis
