Hi! I'm Doğan, hostel manager and hitchhiker and once backpacker, who loves hosting travellers and sharing local tips about Fethiye, the Lycian Way, and travelling around Türkiye as much as I do love hitchiking and backpacking.

Dovan's Lycian Way Hostel is a relaxed and friendly homestay designed for people who value comfort, local insight, and a convenient location. Whether you're hiking the Lycian Way, working remotely, or simply exploring the region at a slower pace, you'll find a welcoming place to stay here.

Our hostel offers a calm and social atmosphere, ideal for hikers, couples, backpackers, digital nomads, and long-term travellers looking for a clean, affordable, quite and practical base in Fethiye. Relax in the living room, cook your own meals in the kitchen, or unwind on the balcony after a day of hiking and exploring.

Note: Couples can also stay in this room with a single, comfortable bed but please let inform us before. No extra charge!

📍Our Location

Everything you need is within easy reach and nearby:

● 1-min walk to the nearest dolmuş /minibus stop

- stop name: **GİRNE KOLEJ:** 36.6429636, 29.1316962

● 5-min walk to the **FETHİYE - DALAMAN AIRPORT SHUTTLE (MUTTAŞ/ HAVAŞ) Stop.

- stop name: SHELL PETROL: 36.6461075, 29.1317559
- It cost 300 TL ( 5 € ) per person and takes 50 min to the Dalaman Airport

● Just a 10-min walk from the seafront, seaside restaurants and cafes and the city's largest park Şehit Fethi Bey Park.
● 10 min to Çalış Beach by dolmuş or 20 min on foot
● 20-25 min easy, straight ahead walk (or 5-min dolmuş ride) to Fethiye Bus Station
● 6–8-min walk to supermarkets ( **Migros, A101, BİM, and ŞOK**) and bakery
● 1-min walk to local mini-market for snacks, drinks, bread, and daily essentials

The neighbourhood is local, authentic, quite and convenient. It's not a touristy area but everything you need is nearby.

🚐 How to Arrive

Getting to the hostel is easy and convenient even if you don't use any minibus/dolmuş.

You can either walk straight ahead from the bus station or take a short 5-minute dolmuş ride. Dolmuş/minibus's accept cash, bank cards, and Muğla city transportation cards. (C.ards's always cheaper than cash.)

Please get off at **Girne Koleji Stop**, which is less than a one-minute walk from the hostel.

House Rules & Terms

● Cancellation Policy

- Free cancellation up to 1 day before arrival.

In case of late cancellation or no-show, the first night's stay will be charged.

- Check-in / Check-out of Dovan's Lycian Way Hostel

* Check-in: 12:00 PM – 00:00 AM
* Check-out: Before 11:00 AM
*** If there are no other guests arriving, early check-in and late check-out times are very flexible for our guests at no extra charge. Yo can spend your time at house until your while you're waiting your bus/airport shuttle etc. We believe NO RUSH in FETHIYE.

***** Important note: ** PLEASE inform us of any late or early arrival.

- Smoking permitted only in designated areas (we have 3 nice balcony)
- We offer advice and suggestions for activities in the region free of charge, guide you well about anything you may need and can organize excursions at very (real!) discounted rates.
