House of BMF is an addition to the bouquet of Bir Music Festival - The largest indie music festival in Himachal Pradesh.
A beautiful experiential art house nested in a garden and farm setup. The house of BMF is a community setup for those who need a reset in life. Not for hustlers, not for pacers but for the ones who wish to live the life of mountains, nature, music and art.
Nested right in the heart of Bir, the place has rooms and dormitories in the middle of a large garden and farm setup with a perfect 360 degree mountain view.
This house is developed to give you an experience of slow and raw life in the mountains. The mornings here begin with slow coffee and chai soaking in the morning sun rising from behind the mountains and nights pass with endless stories and chatter around bonfires. This is the only place in Bir from where both sunrise and sunset can be experienced without going anywhere.
A perfect surrounding of farms and gardens makes it apt all through the day for relaxing and spending time doing some of our in house activities like pebble painting, slate painting, writing for healing and more.
Our rooms have the best mountain view for you to wake up with the rising sun and chirping birds.
A machan stands right in the middle of the farms made with bamboo to give you the raw experience of mountains. You can sit and finish your favourite book here.
Each of our rooms and dormitory are made on a theme of music. A different look and a different experience wraps you each time you choose a different room.
Small gatherings, festivals and retreats form the base of the place so chances are you join us for one of them or get to meet some artists when you visit.
Our in house kitchen and cafe is equipped to enrich your experience with home cooked food and changing menu offering new and local recipes to you. In fact, stay longer to experience our HAPPINESS CALENDAR which has beautiful activities like community dinner cooked by the founder of BMF herself.
