Welcome to Bunk 7, a laid-back hostel in Kandy built for travelers who want to meet people, get a good night’s sleep, stay connected, and explore Sri Lanka with ease.

Whether you’re backpacking around the island, working remotely, or simply looking for a comfortable base in Kandy, Bunk 7 is a place to Stay, Connect and Xplo.

Our dorm has 10 comfortable bunk beds, with everything you need for a good night’s rest:

• Blackout curtains for extra privacy
• Personal power outlet for every bed
• Individual reading light
• A comfortable space to switch off after a day of exploring


☕ A common space made for connecting
The heart of Bunk 7 is our shared common area — a relaxed space where travelers can actually hang out and meet each other.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle and cooker (available on request), along with a dining table for six. We also provide free coffee and tea, so you can start your morning without having to leave the hostel.

Our living area has six bean bags around a low coffee table, perfect for chilling out, playing board games, sharing travel stories, or planning your next adventure. And yes — there are power outlets nearby, so you can keep your phone or laptop charged while you relax.


🌅 Take it outside
Our balcony is a great little escape for some fresh air, morning tea or catching the sunset after a busy day in Kandy.


🚌 Explore Kandy & beyond
Getting around is easy. Buses stop right outside Bunk 7, giving you convenient access to destinations around Kandy and beyond.

Kandy city centre is around 4 km away, and the local bus ride is inexpensive — making Bunk 7 a great base if you want to experience Kandy without paying city-centre prices.
