The Jayne Pearl is a 19m wooden converted fishing boat with safety certificate (MGN280). We usually use her for diving charters; between charters we are offering accommodation in our home port.

Cancellation policy: Free cancellation up to 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the entire amount of your stay.

The boat is accessed by walking down pontoons, this is usually safe, however does carry some danger e.g. of falling in the water. The boat also has deck hatches where care needs to be taken to avoid falls. For this reason; it is not safe for persons who are drunk, people who have less awareness of dangers and young children.

The companionway ladder down to the accommodation is fairly steep compared to stairs you'd find in a house. The V-berth, forecabin and additional seating area are accessed by going up two big steps and through a hatch. This route, along with a vertical ladder is the emergency escape route. Top bunks require guests to climb up from the bottom bunk with limited head room.

Due to the above, guests will need to have a reasonable amount of mobility. We have tried to show all these in the pictures.

We are open to accepting guests with disabilities if they think it could work for them and we're happy to consider any adaptions that would help.

The toilets are hand pumped sea toilets which are a bit different to house toilets, but we'll give full instructions. There are additional toilets, showers, and laundry facilities available in the marina building.

Bunks are around 750mm wide and at least 1900mm long. Some are longer and more suitable for taller guests. Mattresses are new and reported to be very comfortable.

Cabins are below decks and there are no windows, although some have sky lights.

The boat will be alongside the pontoons at Tobermory, it is usually sheltered, however in some wind directions the boat may move with the waves.
