Welcome to ANNO 1756 Traveller Suite, a small and personal place to stay at the foot of Sighișoara’s medieval Citadel and directly on the Via Transilvanica.

Our accommodation is located in a historic house dating back to 1756. The Traveller Suite consists of two rooms forming one suite, with a total of 8 beds, as well as two bathrooms. Guests also have access to a well-equipped self-catering kitchen and a washing machine.

Original wooden beams and other historic details give the house its special character, while the renovated rooms and bathrooms offer simple, comfortable accommodation for travellers, hikers and small groups.

Sighișoara’s medieval Citadel, the Clock Tower, restaurants, cafés and the historic centre are all within easy walking distance. For hikers on the Via Transilvanica, the house is located directly on the route, and a Via Transilvanica stamp is available for travellers.

ANNO 1756 Traveller Suite is run by Volker and Victorita, who have more than 25 years of experience welcoming travellers in Sighișoara. Our aim is to offer a friendly, uncomplicated and affordable place where guests can relax, meet other travellers and discover Sighișoara at their own pace.
