Cramped and smelly dorms. Probably because half the residents are permanent and leave their work stuff and shoes strewn across the floor. “Staff” seem to work a couple hours in the morning and afternoon. Can’t blame them much, they appear very underplayed. As it’s one of the only places to stay in Newcastle you’ll probably still find some decent people in the common areas to socialize with.

Overall pretty clean, rooms were decent, employees were helpful. Other travelers were pretty friendly. There were a few issues between travelers while I was there but it still was a good time. Location was very close to the bus/trains, but a little far from downtown.
