Backpackers best choice to rest and travel! You can simply take a rest or meet friends from all over the world on a SMALL budget!

We are located centrally in Kaohsiung city, and we are near KMRT R8 station -Sanduo Shopping District. Our home is only 3-min walk from KMRT R8 station(exit 6). The most famous night market in Kaohsiung is also within a few mins walking distance from our home.

Backpacker 41 is devoted in creating a backpacker friendly environment. We provide a nice and comfortable public area with cable TV, air-conditioning, DVD player, sofa, magazines and computers for all backpackers in our home to share their experiences and thoughts.

Check-out: Before 11:00(PM).


Please bring with Voucher and Passport when check-in.
We only accept Cash payment' on arrival.
Cancellation policy is 48 hours before the day of arrival without charge.

All are Non-smoking rooms and pets are not allowed either in the rooms or public area.

We also have a branch in Taichung, please feel free to ask a member of staff if you wish to book ahead.

STAY AWAY. Terrible experience. 1. BED BUGS found on my bed/bags. 2. Staff is hostile; an older woman shouted at me for 40 mins during check-in, then didn't even give me a bed. 3. No entry/bags drop-off before 10 AM. No elevator (5 floors). 4. No luggage storage despite being promised. 5. Strict/weird rules: Fines for food/drinks above 1st floor, yelled at for wearing shoes. 6.No vibe. They closed the next day due to no guests. Save yourself the headache, pay more for a normal hostel.

Very security conscious, convenient to metro. Helpful front desk staff but some loud unpleasant interactions between others who may have been staff. It would have just been my stay but there was no social atmosphere. Beds are not very private like other hostels I've stayed in so worth bringing a sleeping mask.
