Great spot for hiking in the Peak District. The staff are very friendly and it feels secure and family oriented. The building is a little tired and some facilities were out of order (eg some showers) which may have been annoying if it were busier. The kitchen is spacious but fully self catered so just bring everything you want to cook with. Rooms are quiet and secure. Lots of families stay here- it’s not for partying (which we didn’t mind at all). All in all, a great spot that I would recommend.

Plaster falling off the walls, horrid shower leaks leaving the whole toilet wet . Not nice to walk thru cold puddle / stream in middle night. No soap by sink. Sanitizer offer. Games for public based right out side window. Not peaceful at all. Grateful for summer fun Not great for passing, travelling need rest.
