Located in Nevada’s Mojave Desert, Las Vegas is also ideally located for day trips to natural attractions like Red Rock Canyon National Park. Visitors can also jump over to Arizona and witness the Grand Canyon National Park in all its majesty, go up to Utah to experience Zion National Park first-hand, or head to the Hoover Dam to marvel at the massive feat of human ingenuity and engineering.
There are a number of transport options to get from McCarran International Airport to The Strip. RTC buses and airport shuttles are the least expensive way to get into downtown. If you’d rather have a private ride, taxis and ride-sharing services are available from the airport. Once in Vegas, monorails and buses are the cheapest form of transport. Walking is also an ideal way to get around while simultaneously getting a fully immersive experience of the phenomenon that is Las Vegas.
