Choice Backpackers is a modern international hostel located in the heart of Auckland City at the historic corner of Queen and Wellesley Street. We are proud of our diversity and provide accommodation for people from more than 25 counties.
Our fully air-conditioned hostel features a large variety of rooms on 10 floors, of which each is themed differently according to another place in the world. We offer everything from super cheap 10 bed dorms up to private rooms for couples or solo travellers. All linen and towels are provided free.
Have dinner with your friends in our well-equipped communal kitchen, watch a movie in our TV room, have a game of pool or grab a book from our book exchange. Ready for another adventure? Good, cause our incredibly friendly and helpful team is always there to help you to plan your next trip with free maps, their very own experience and our latest self-driving tours, carefully developed and selected for you.
Our team speaks English, German, Spanish, Italian, Hindi and French. With our help opening a bank account or applying for the New Zealand tax number is as easy as possible. We even do your tax return so you don't have to leave New Zealand with empty pockets.
Of course, we will store all your mail for up to 2 months free. Did we miss anything? We don't think so But if, our team is here 24/7 to assist and make your stay a pleasant and unforgettable one.
