Our family has been welcoming guests to share our impressive sunset view, our fresh food and home-made wine for over 30 years. There is room for everyone, whether you?re passing through on a grand European tour, or need the perfect spot by the sea for a romantic getaway. We love getting to know our guests personally, ensuring you have a very special experience in a beautiful place.
Sunrock is a very unique bed-and-breakfast on the coast of Corfu that offers a comfortable stay without any frills or deluxe packages. Instead, we provide organic food from our own farm, access to the beach, and a feeling of community.
Our rooms range from hostel-style dorms with shared bathrooms, to private twin rooms, up to our Seaview and Honeymoon suites, all spread out across the hotel to ensure that everyone has both the best night?s sleep and the most fun during their stay. Solo travelers can mingle in the bar or chill out on the terrace; freelance workers can get online with the free WiFi in the lobby; and couples can eat dinner under the beautiful sunset in the outdoor restaurant. Sunrock is all about releasing the stress from your shoulders from the outside world, and giving you time to relax by the sea, watching the setting sun and listening to the crashing waves.
We are only 30 meters up the hill from Pelekas Beach (Kontogialos), a beautiful sandy beach on the East coast of Corfu, and a 20 minute drive from the airport, port and Corfu center. This makes it a great base for exploring the island, whether you are renting a car or hiking the Corfu Trail. We offer a shuttle service from the airport, port or Corfu Town for a small fee after arrangement. You can also take the blue bus number11 from Corfu Town to Pelekas (stop Moucha) and then walk down the steep hill. At the bottom of the hill, facing the sea, turn left and walk 200m to Sunrock.
