Vienna Westend City Hostel

We are situated right next to Mariahilferstrasse (most famous shopping street) and 'Westbahnhof' train station on the intersection of two metro lines (U3, U6) which take you into the city centre within 5 minutes. Sites like St. Stephen's, the city hall, the museums quarter, the parliament, the imperial palace and so many more are all to reach within 15 minutes from our hostel by walk or public transport. So as mentioned above, we would surely be first choice for anyone, seeking proximity to the city centre and an uncomplicated arrival.
Our staff is always prepared to give valuable (insider) information on the hot spots of Vienna. An alley of pubs and clubs lies in walking distance of our hostel. Also Vienna's largest shopping street the 'MariahilferstraÃye' is just a step away.

If you are more than 8 people (Group), you must first enquire at the hostel before booking. We are NOT obliged to honor group bookings (that also goes for groups that split their booking)! Thanks for your understanding.

Age restriction dormitory rooms:
Since we are a youth hostel, we kindly ask for your understanding that we need to pay attention to an adequate range of age on our dormitory rooms.
Hence we ask guests above the age of 40 to please book private rooms (single, double or private dormitory). Otherwise, we will have to point out this regulation to you upon check-in and (if available, on up-charge) re-book you into a private room

BOOKING GUARANTEE:
Please note that the hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize your credit card prior to arrival. If the credit card has expired or is not valid, the hotel is authirized to cancel the reservation. A pre-authorisation is only a security guarantee for payment and arrival.
The guest, after conclusion of contract, has the right to the number and price of the rooms, however not the right of the allocation of certain beds in certain rooms.


ROOMS:
- mixed dormitories with reasonable prices (age restrication in dormitories; please ask for private or familiy room, when you are older than 40 yeares old)
- rooms are non-smoking areas
- we offer 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 , 11 bed rooms
In multi bed rooms guests have to put linen on the beds themselves; towels can be rented.

Breakfast is available after written confirmation for groups (of at least 20 travelers) between 7am and 10am in our breakfast room .
There are numerous Viennese coffee houses, restaurants and bakeries near Vienna Westend City Hostell (at Marihilferstrasse and in Westebahnhof) that offer a very good breakfast.

You can rent towelsat the reception, padlocks for sale or you bring them yourself.

From 27.12.2024 -02.01.2025: Minimum Stay 3 Nights
On 31.12.2024 no check-in or check-out
SPECIAL CANCELLATION POLICY:
Free cancellations are possible untill 12.12.2024. In case of No Show we will charge 100 % of the total reservation amount
We ask for full prepayment, either per bank transfer or credit card till 12.12.2024.
Bookings made after 12.12.2024 need to be paid in full at the date of booking.

If you want to cancel your booking free of charge, please email us up to 1 week before arrival till 8:00 a.m. In case of no-show the total cost of your stay will be charged on your credit card.
In case that the amount of your reservation surmounts 300 Euros we reserve us the right to ask you for a pre-payment or to pre-authorize the credit card used for the booking (about 50 % of the total amount).
