We sit down with each and every guest on arrival and help you plan your time in National Park Durmitor whether it be hiking, biking, rafting, canyoning or simply just exploring the beautiful surroundings in the fresh mountain air.

We also have spare hiking shoes, jackets, warm clothes and we will provide you with free paper and digital(offline) hiking maps. Every morning we hold hike briefings and help people find hike buddies if they don't want to hike alone.

Not good for independent hikers. The hostel strongly pushes a small set of recommended hikes and its paid shuttle service, while other established routes were repeatedly discouraged without asking about experience or navigation ability. I found the approach controlling and overly commercialised. Probably great if you want structured guidance but not if you’re experienced, value your personal autonomy and prefer planning your own mountain days. Felt like a school camp.

Alex and Stephan are great hosts. They are informative, organized, and create a clean and social environment. I had a great talk with Stephan on my last night and he really encouraged me to challenge myself on future hikes. Stayed 4 nights but could’ve stayed at least 2 more.

Amazing stay. Thank you Alex and Stephan for welcoming us and helping. The rooms are cozy and clean and the vibes are quiet but social (almost everyone comes to hike). Couldn't recommend more. Would stay at least 3 nights if the weather is good.
