Excellently located in the heart of Trikala City, Greece, only 10 miles from the Holy Meteora! Connected by bus and train from Trikala to Meteora running daily every 1 hour from 5:00 am till 23:00 pm!

Trikala City is a connection hub with trains and buses connecting all of Thessaly major highlights are near to us: the Holy Meteora, the Pindos mountains, the beautiful Plastiras lake, the Delphi archaeological museum, Mount Olympus and Thessaly Beaches like Neoi Poroi and Platamonas are easily accessible thus you gain a great experience of real Greece in just a little time!

Nomads Rooms is a perfect base for sight-seeing and adventures by day and partying by night!

Our friendly and welcoming staff will be more than happy to provide you with plenty of information and tips about the city and how to get around Meteora and Greece. The hostel is owned and run by a local family who are also travelers and able to offer you a good insight into this magical city as well as some insiders tips on the best places to go and where to eat out and have fun!

I arrived with my friend, what I didn't realise at the time was the girl on reception only gave the door code to my friend - I didn't even know there was one - so when I returned late in the evening I had a key for the front door but could get no further than the hallway! Unfortunately this resulted in my waking all the neighbouring rooms, luckily someone managed to find the code (not sure how!) so eventually I got in but not a pleasant experience and I was not impressed 🫤

Decent spot to stay in for the price. Helpful and friendly staff. I think they must’ve put past feedback into practice as I didn’t see any issue with the cleanliness/smell of the place. Comfy beds - a bit squeaky though. A few more plugs in the room would be nice. 2 power points for 6 people doesn’t really add up.

Great place to stay! Spacious and clean rooms, the staff was very helpful and gave me great reccomendations on Meteora and Trikala. Definitely would recommend staying here if you’re thinking about visiting Meteora. Location was close to the center as well.
