Welcome to “A Casa di Amici”!
If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel right at home, you’ve found it.
We’re in the heart of Palermo, just a few steps from the Politeama Theatre and only 350 meters from the bus and train stops to/from the airport.
Founded in 2004 by Claudia and Santo Vitale, a sister and brother united by their passion for music, art, and hospitality, the hostel is now a small creative world: every corner tells a story through musical instruments, sculptures, and paintings that turn the space into an art gallery.
Live the Experience
Staying at “A Casa di Amici” is much more than just sleeping: join our drum circles, walking tours, craft workshops, or social dinners with guests from all over the world.
And if you love to play music, our Music Room awaits you with piano, guitars, and percussion instruments at your disposal.
Spaces Designed for Every Traveler
Our independent building spreads over two floors:
• Mixed or female dorms on the first floor, private ensuite rooms on the second.
• Bar open from breakfast to the goodnight shot.
• Living room, kitchen, and terrace with smoking area.
• Coworking room, lockers, laundry, air conditioning, and free luggage storage until 6:00 p.m.
• Board games, bookcrossing, painting corner, and movie nights.
• Super-fast Wi-Fi (100 MB).
• Option to reserve the entire property (up to 50 guests) for groups.

For check-ins after 22:00, we activate the self-check-in procedure — please contact us in advance!
Check-in: from 3:00 p.m. (you can leave your luggage if you arrive earlier)
Check-out: by 10:00 a.m.
