We call it Jumba, you call it home. We are a cosy concept hostel located in a beautiful ﬁve-ﬂoor building in the ulta-cool Cihangir neighbourhood of Istanbul. Located on a quiet side street just a few minutes walk from the bustling Istiklal Street, Jumba guarantees that you will have a relaxing and comfortable stay,whilst also being at the heart of the action. Jumba is run by three sisters and has a chilled, laid back atmosphere that is suitable for any kind of visit. At Jumba, we take time to get to know you and see our guests not as customers, but as friends that we want to help! Once you are our guest, you get free WIFI, free tea and coffee and free towels. We also sometimes host free social events making it even easier to make great friends! What else??

Guests above 50 can not stay in the dorm rooms.

Cancellation policy: 48h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first 2 nights of your stay. The deposit paid in advence wont be reduced from the payment.

Great location, nice rooftop- rooms are a little hot over summer but there is a fan. Also it’s an older place so just stairs, if you have a bigger bag it’s a bit difficult. For value I would definitely stay here again, especially because it’s so central with food, stores, etc

I've stayed only one night there. The communication before arriving was enough clear. The instructions were very detailed and includes everything you need. The room is quite clean. Bathrooms as well. All the linens were white, no stain on them. The common ares was quite enough and the terrace is really something. The kitchen includes whatever you need. And free tea and coffee 24/7 is a Bonus. I will definetly come again soon. Higly reccomended. Especially for solo female travellers

Hostel is in a great location - close to antique stores, coffee shops and easy access to public transport. The views from the common room and from the rooftop are amazing. Watching the sunset on the rooftop was lovely. I stayed in a single room, and was travelling solo. I didn't see any other guests during my stay (2 nights), so if you are looking to meet people this may not be a good choice. Some problems with the hostel are the old locks, dark corridors and lots of stairs for the rooms in the higher lev
