This hostel has okay facilities and a nice price. But you will get woken up at 5 am by loud train horns!!! Blaring horns. There is music played all day over speakers by the hostel, and it turns off at 10 pm. It costs $29 to book a ride to the airport, which is more than double the cost of an Uber. Do not book if you want to nap or sleep in! But fine for a cheap option that has a pool!

It's a pretty crummy little hostel with squeaky beds and metal bed frames that make noises. No ac but it wasn't too bad the night i was there.

Pretty average hostel. The staff was the highlight they were super nice and helpful and they have a nice little restaurant and bar. The room was pretty stinky and really humid and the showers felt a little dirty/old. Pretty good atmosphere met some nice people but a lot of the people were reserved too. I could see myself staying here again if I’m going through San Jose but also would want to check out other options.
