Located right in the center of the picturesque old town, between the “Jakobertor” and the historic town hall, directly opposite the “Fuggerei”, we have been warmly welcoming all guests to our hostel for 10 years.
The City Hostel has 18 comfortably furnished rooms. In four single rooms, eight double rooms, three three-bed rooms and one four-bed room, as well as two rooms equipped for families for up to 5 people, you have access to cable TV and free Wi-Fi in addition to the standard facilities with a sink. Paid parking spaces are available in the yard. Bed linen, small towels and daily room cleaning are included. A delicious breakfast buffet ensures a good start to the day.
Your accommodation is so close to the heart of the city center that you always have your finger on the pulse of the city. For example, the 'Fuggerei', the oldest social settlement in the world from the 16th century and Augsburg's main attraction, is just a few steps across the street. You can reach the center of the pedestrian zone with the “Perlachturm” and the town hall square in just 8 minutes on foot. From there, the Augsburg museums and the UNESCO World Heritage monuments can be explored.
The “Kongress am Park” at 2.5 km and the exhibition center at 6 km can also be easily reached by public transport thanks to the direct tram connection opposite the City Hostel .
