Summary of traveller reviews

Accommodation Horizon in Zadar offers a fantastic location, close to the old town, bus station, and beach. While the staff are often described as friendly and helpful, many recent reviews highlight significant issues with cleanliness and the overall condition of the property, with some guests finding it dilapidated and poorly maintained. It may suit budget travellers who prioritise location over comfort.

When I booked here I thought the hostel was rated 4,3 on 5 because I was in a hurry and it was the chapest option by far, that is 24 EUROS per day when the next best option in the entire city were rooms at around 70 to 80 EUR. For 9 or 10 EUR per night I would be totally satisfied whith the quality of the facilities and the atmosphere, especially of the part of the hostel were we slept the first night: an old garage among roomies that would cook and talk loud after midnight.

The hostel Host is very nice and has a very nice cat. The hostel was not the one that I may go for again but If you don't have a budget could be an option I stayed there for 4 nights I wouldn't say the worst but I would search the other options first. the location between the city and the bus station was good just 10- 15 Min. Walk

You expect a clean bed even in the cheapest of hostels, you won’t get that here Do not be fooled by the seemingly great location, you are paying €20 a night to stay in a run down, dusty building with stuff everywhere. Kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms are filthy and I worry about bedbugs. You can get to anywhere in zadar from any point via a 30 min walk max, so location is meaningless. The owner even took the aircon off me. Stay elsewhere, this place is unfit to sleep in. Worth €10 a night.
