This is a truly unique hostel. The view from the hostel is breathtaking. It's very clean and has good facilities. There's not much to do in town but the nearby paleothic museum is great, but if you're looking to relax for a few days this is perfect. Getting there from Pocinho is a difficult 2 hour hike or a 10 minute taxi (call Jorge Velho Taxis). Worth noting: don't come here if you're afraid of dogs. There are two big, aggressive dogs down the road that the irresponsible owners let roam free.

Do not go here!! There were bed lice in my room. When I told the staff they did not even look surprised. I asked for my money back but they did not want to give it, I could only sent an e-mail to some ‘person in lisbon’ who would decide if I could get a refund. The two ladies who worked there did not even apologise for all of this. Worst hostel experience of all my travels!! Also the womens shower does not work, forcing you to use one that is only seperated from the toilets with a curtain.
