Okayama Hostel Igusa

Okayama Hostel Igusa used be a Minshuku (Japanese traditional inn) with a beautiful Japanese garden. We renovated this 50 years old folklore house to a guesthouse.
The hostel is Located in the beautiful countryside with great access to cities. Igusa Hostel is only 5 min walk from JR Hayashima Station, which is 11 min by train from JR Okayama Sta. where Shinkansen trains stop. We offer 3-5 bed and 1 and 2 bed Japanese style private rooms and 5 bed (3 futon beds and 1 bunk bed) male and female dormitory rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring with air conditioner, heater and free-WiFi.

Bathrooms, shower facilities, Kitchen are shared. There is a common area where guests can relax and enjoy the nice garden view.

Igusa Hostel has also a great access to JR Uno Sta. (Uno Port) where the ferries depart to Naoshima, Teshima and the other islands in Seto-inner-sea. The Hostel also has easy access to Kurashiki Bikan historical quarter, Okayama-city, Hiroshima and Shikoku.

* No curfew
* Free luggage keeping reception open : 08:00 ~ 11:30 (Please contact us in 1 day advance otherwise you could be locked outside sometime we are out in the morning)

==== THINGS TO NOTE ====
・Please avoid arriving between 11:30 and 16:00 and after 20:00, as the door is locked and you will be locked outside.
・Reception is open until 20:00 so if you don't come by then, your booking will be no show cancelled but if you have a reasonable reason you won't make it in time and inform us by 20:00, we can wait for you until 21:00. In that case we will charge you ￥500/person per 30 min. though. (No charge for the delay caused by a public transportation accident）
・Cash only on site payment ( We don't take any credit card.)
