The centre of San Antonio de Areco is easily walkable as it's such a compact town. You can fly into Ezeiza International Airport in nearby Buenos Aires then either catch a bus, or micro, from the Retiro bus station in the city centre (it takes around 2 hours). You could also rent a car and drive. The train will take you to Capilla del Señor (just under 3 hours) and you can get a taxi from there.
