Summary of traveller reviews

Selina Oaxaca is praised for its excellent central location, making it easy to explore the city. Guests often highlight the friendly and helpful staff. While some find it more like a hotel than a hostel, lacking social events, it's noted as a good option for a relaxing stay or for digital nomads. Some recent reviews mention issues with water pressure and that certain facilities like the rooftop and kitchen may be closed or unavailable.

Very few facilities even though they are advertised in the photos. There was no kitchen, no yoga classes and it seems as though the rooftop has been closed for quite a while based on other reviews. The staff were very friendly and helpful though, and it was very clean!

Very quiet hostel. The rooms are spacious and clean. It's located in a very central neighbourhood. If you're looking to meet other travellers to socialise with and plan things together, the hostel doesn't offer much activities.

Overall we had a nice stay at Selina - room was spacious and amazing location. The bar area is separate which means there’s no vibe at all in the hostel itself. There is also no kitchen which we were really surprised to find (many past reviews mention kitchen so it seems they decided to close it). The roof terrace was also closed which was a shame as that would be an asset. The water pressure in our first room was non existent but when we moved it was much better so ask if you have issues!
