About

La Buena Vista has twenty rooms, each with private bath. Each room is unique. Many have private balconies, all have patio areas with lounges and hammocks, and a few are private bungalows.

The Inn has been built on a hill at center of the village, and the rooms are connected by a winding stone walkway, which climbs through tropical gardens up the hillside.

Feels like the Oaxacan version of The Haunted Mansion. beautiful property that is a vision of an abandoned dream. No potable water or hot water, swimming pool is treated with household bleach, burned my skin. no toiletseats, bed sheets ancient and itchy, mattress smells like dead skunk and made a dust cloud when you sit down. staff leaves property at night with no way to contact. gate is left open to a dark alleyway, no security. oh and then there's a neglected parrot screaming "hola" all night.

My stay at La Buena Vista was by far the worst travel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the receptionist made us feel completely unwelcome. She was unfriendly, unhelpful, and downright rude—at one point even chasing us out of the common area after we checked out. The facilities were filthy. Everything was dusty and moldy. It's a beautiful hotel with incredible views and surrounded by nature. It was a pleasant surprise. Sadly, there is no kitchen available for guests use and some of the plants close to my room were dying. I stayed one night but it's worth staying a little longer.
