Sol del Desierto

This town was declared a typical zone, by National Monuments and stands out for its Church of San Francisco, (M.N.), built in 1611, equipped with 2 towers and valuable imagery. Considered one of the oldest in Chile. A few kilometers from the Hotel, there is also the beautiful Inka Coya Lagoon. The routes of the Spanish conquerors, preceded by some decades by the Inca Tupac Yupanqui and his troops, touched this land. Sol del Desierto also owns the Chiu-Chiu Andean Astronomy Observatory - the PANIRI CAUR, located steps from the Hotel. In this observatory, the visiting public is not only limited to observing the cosmos, but also learns to visualize the heavens from the perspective of how the Andean indigenous people did.

Rooms here are all fitted with a private bathroom, a wardrobe and a patio or mountain view. Towels and daily maid service are provided.
