The Blue Gecko is a great little resort, located very close, just two minutes walk from Long Beach, Ko Lanta's favourite. The resort has 18 bungalows and rooms, they all come with private, ensuite bathrooms and air conditioners.

The rooms have comfortable, western style mattrasses, clean cotton bedsheets. The resort has a beautiful garden and a lovely reception area, the atmosphere is friendly, staff is easy-going.

Pier pickup is available for 100 bahts (stop Ko Lanta taxi rip-off!). We do marvellous, western style big breakfast, with real, good bread, freshly squeezed fruit juices not watered down and not sweetened, and many other great things.

Comfy, peaceful and a very spacious room and bathroom, with a fridge! Lots of outdoor common areas to choose from. The staff were always around and very helpful, particular when there were minor issues - they fixed them in a timely manner. The room was cleaned each day and even had the option to replace with new towels if desired. A beautiful place.
