Our Casbah style hotel was opened in 1998 and is uniquely placed next to the first sand dunes of the Moroccan Sahara.
It is the first observatory/hotel featuring the latest models of GPS telescopes.
We offer 7 telescope stations on our roof top. For observation - photography and solar scopes.

All 18 rooms (8 mini suites - 6 comfort rooms and 4 economy rooms) have air conditioning and come with private bath and large terraces overlooking the desert.

There is a very personal atmosphere in the hotel with no large groups and friendly service. German ownership.

We are situated in an excellent point of departure for excursions in normal car or 4x4 to the highest sand dunes of the Moroccan Sahara and private casbahs of medieval life style.

The hotel is under German ownership and has a fully licensed bar.

In 2005 we have added SaharaSky, the first private observatory in Morocco.
After dinner Patrick (belge) our professional astronomer will assist stargazing sessions til midnight.
