The Alegre Hotel is a wellness retreat in the center of Portugal, just 20 Km north of the university city of Coimbra, 2 hours from Lisbon and 45 Minutes from Oporto International Airport.

Luso is a traditional Portuguese Spa village known to exist since the early XIX century. Its water is the most famous in Portugal due to it's special physical and chemical characteristics.

100 meters from the Hotel, stays the Bussaco National Park, a paradise on earth, full of exotic trees brought from overseas by the Portuguese sailors, cold springs of crystalline water and dramatic view points over the sea line.
